On The Bench: 1971 Chevrolet C-10 Long Bed on Custom Chassis

Getting underway is another of a couple custom Greenlight Chevrolet C-10 trucks using the new brass chassis. This one is a 1971 from the Hollywood series line. As I mentioned in the previous post this chassis is a direct detailed replacement for the original stock chassis and does require several modifications to the truck body to accept the chassis. The chassis mounts to the body using 0-80 brass screws. The majority of the cutting is done and the truck is mocked up on a set of steel wheels with poverty caps. It still needs some paint for the chassis and some more work in the engine compartment. Look for this to be completed and up for sale in the products section in the near future.
